Css code to change blog background (URL image)

    I have recently changed my theme from pilcrow to On demand and I want to ask if there is a way to stay as close as possible to my previous blog appearance. I know the theme does not support a header image, but is there a way to have as blog background the ‘leaves’ but the blog posts on the front page remain dark (so that they are visible) ?Css is needed if possible.
