css controling main nav list style in Manifest

almostartist.com
thank you in advance cause you guys have been great :D
trying to figure out the best layout/style for my main nav list sub menu items. Right now in categories – when you hover for the submenu the list appears in a block across
Trying to look through the CSS and figure out what list-style item in there is effecting that piece of code so I can play with other options such as have the sub menu drop down in a top/bottom layout from categories
do i adjust something here?
#access ul {
display: inline-block;
}or something more specific to the submenu?
while at the main nav – i noticed my underline hover bar for home and about seems to be off (up) from the bottom border by one pixel – not sure how I managed that – or how to have the hover and the bottom border in sync – something with the margins?
THANKS!

This will give you something to play with.
#main-nav ul ul li { display: block; } #main-nav ul ul { left: auto; margin-top: 5px; text-align: left; } -
great thanks again thesacredpath
so i see what i needed to do was get the display to block instead of the inherited inline-block?
for the ul ul il which is the sub-menu list in the main nav (i think ) phew
now at least i think i have a starting place to get it going a bit more
and i need to tinker with the highlight underline for the nav items – i must have some extra padding somewhere
-
thanks
hum not sure how to get the extra white space from the sub-menu drop down out?
also i was checkign out Beuno – which has such a nice clean menu nav highlight – http://catbcn.wordpress.com/
but mine looks so spastic, not fluid like that
