CSS Customisation and Appointment Theme (Free Version)

    Hello!

    I hope someone can help me as I am going round in circles!

    I have created a table in one of my pages, however despite specifying

    table border=”0px”;

    A border is still showing

    I inspected the element and found that there is some css, specifying that the table border is 1px.

    I therefore looked to alter the CSS, however couldn’t find anything in the customisation to do this (despite the fact that in the Theme details for the Lite version it says you can!).

    I also looked in the Editor and couldn’t find anything.

    I downloaded a plug-in to change the CSS, but it isn’t doing anything!

    I looked for advice on other forums and somebody suggested adding

    border-collapse: collapse;

    to the table description, but alas, no change!

    I then tried specifying that td, th, tr had border of 0px, but guess what!

    I wondered if anyone else had any suggestions.

    At this stage I really don’t want to pay for the Pro theme, as I am only putting an idea together for someone and if they don’t like the look of the theme, I will have to choose something else. Additionally in the Pro description, it doesn’t mention anything about CSS customisation!

    Anyway, if anybody has managed to get through this essay and is able to help, I would be grateful for some assistance.

    Many thanks, S

    Hi there, you did not provide a link to your site and a search of our Theme Showcase does not show that we have a theme called Appointment. The site linked to your account is using the Twenty Fourteen theme.

    There is a theme called Appointment for self-hosted WordPress sites, and there is a dedicated Appointment theme support forum at WordPress.org.
