CSS Customisation: headers & photos
-
Hi,
I am trying to customise my blog and I have found many of the answers through searching your previous answers. However, there are still a couple of questions I have outstanding that I hope you can help me with:1 – I have changed the colour of the navigation bar (beneath the header) to white, but there is still a border around it that I cannot remove. Can you help please?
2 – Can you change the colour of the navigation bar when you hover over it? It is currently grey and I would maybe like to change it.
3 – I have posted a test photo and I see that there is a big grey box beneath with information about when it was posted etc. How can I change the colour and size of this?
Thanking you in advance.

Thanks timethief, this helped perfectly for points 1 & 2 (though we did change it back in the end as our ideas didn’t quite work out as planned).
Can anyone help with point 3?

To change the background color and size of the box below image posts in the Twenty Eleven theme, try this:
.indexed.format-image footer.entry-meta { background: white; padding: 0; } -
Thanks designsimply (love your title ‘happiness engineer’!). That worked a treat. The text hover over text is now white though, is it possible to keep it black, but with an underline to show the hover over?

Thanks!
Ah, I didn’t notice the hover color before. You can change it like this:
.indexed.format-image footer.entry-meta a:hover { color: black; }
