CSS customization

  Hello,

  I purchased a premium theme (‘Elegant’) for my site. I’m trying to customize the CSS. When I go to customize the CSS using ‘developer tools’ in the my browser, I try to save the CSS when I make edits. However, it’s not reflecting when I save (sometimes, I can’t even save it…that option isn’t possible). How do I customize the CSS?

  Hi there,

  We don’t sell any theme called Elegant, and the only site in your account is a Bluehost-hosted WordPress site connected here via Jetpack. We only provide support for WordPress.com sites and themes in this forum, and we cannot help you here.

  When I go to customize the CSS using ‘developer tools’ in the my browser, I try to save the CSS when I make edits

  Changes you make in the developer console for your browser are only saved until you refresh the page, and those changes only exist in your browser. It has no permanent effect on your site at all.

  To make CSS changes to your actual site, go to My Site ->Customize, or WP-Admin ->Appearance ->Customize, and click on Additional CSS. Add your code there, and save.
