CSS Customization for Profile Theme

  I’d like to change the width of the Profile theme I am using for my farm’s blog. I am aware there is a section to enter my own CSS customization to do so. In fact, I’m looking at it right now. But I’m not familiar enough with CSS. So how do I make the post body wider (not the sidebar)? I’ve already purchased the customization feature… I just don’t want to mess up the whole layout in the process. I’m sure there’s just a snippet I can paste in there, correct? Any pointers? Google is just a mess of too much overwhelming information. I don’t have the time for this, guys! I’m a farmer!
