CSS customization not saving properly

  Hi guys I need to know how to change background color for the gallery slide show from grey to white under the motif theme…I have changed it many times with the CSS but after saving and publishing it goes back to its original color. Thx

  Hi there!

  It seems the CSS you tried wasn’t working due to a lack of specificity. If you’re unsure, this article gives a good introduction to CSS specificity and how it can affect your site:

  Could you try the following snippet? You’ll see I’m targeting the slideshow’s ID, rather than it’s class, in the selector, which increases the specificity:

  div#gallery-92-6-slideshow {
    background-color: #fff;
    border: #fff;
  }
