CSS – disable slider from Featured Content (Automattic Untitled theme)?

    I am using the Untitled and I have purchased the CSS upgrade though. I am wondering if it is possible to remove the flexslider navigation from the “featured image”. I love the look of the featured image, but I don’t want it to function as a slider – I just want it to look like an image header. Is there a way to do this?
