CSS doesn’t load on my own theme

    Hey,

I’m running WordPress on my university’s host (WP installation was amazingly easy ^^) and I am creating my own theme. My plan is to start minimally, meaning that I have only index.php and style.css files on it. I would expand it later on.
Currently I am satisfied with the outlook on my site, so I’d like start putting in php tags. I tested my theme after I put it in wp-content/themes/myowntheme folder. The outcome was that html code works fine, but for some reason my CSS is not loaded. Any clues why?

My html file on index.php has a line importing the CSS file.

    You’re in the wrong place.
