css eding kills much of the “style” of the template

  Hey guys, my theme is andreas04. I purchased the css edit upgrade. Problem is when i edit just the font….much of the rest of the “style” disappears…colors, shading, background color….how can i make these simple changes w/o it killing the design??
  Most of what is disappearing is the background image (which is just colors or gradients).

  FWIW, i have this also on a blog hosted elsewhere…and it does not change these same things when making the same changes…exactly the same changes….they are cut and pasted….
