css experiences with the Vigilance Theme
-
I delved into css [no previous experience]for my Vigilance theme yesterday. I’m very satisfied with the results and the learning experience. Please visit my blog [ http://northcarolinacyclist.wordpress.com/ ]to see the results and the css style sheet I created for the changes I made [ http://northcarolinacyclist.wordpress.com/2009/03/14/blog-refinements-continue/ ]. The coded is documented to tell you what the code does. The results are well worth the $15.00 annual cost. Thanks to Drew Strojny for his assistance. –jim artis

Well done. Keep up the good work. I do find the text in the header image a bit dark and hard to read, but it could be my screen.

Thanks ellaella, I’ve had it brighter, but toned it down to not over-power and blend. I’ll continue to evaluate. –jim

CSS is great fun.
I notice you keep leaving links to your blog wherever you post here, even though it’s linked to your name. Please don’t do that. It makes you look spammy.

I’m using Vigilance too & I checked yours (jalexartis) out & I saw no tags. I would like to get rid of mine as well… do you have the code for it?
(I have the editing of CSS paid for etc etc just need the code)blog:

I’m not sure what you did not see on my blog. I do have tags. Posts tags are at the upper right-hand corner. My post tage are closer to the double dividing line than yours. All tags are listed as a cloud in the wide sidebar. I hope this helps. –jim
