CSS for mobile site only (illustratr theme)
-
Hello. I am wondering if there is any way to change the layout of the mobile site without changing the layout of the full site.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, the first thing I would suggest trying is to go to Appearance > Mobile and disable the Mobile Theme. Illustratr is a responsive designed theme that is made to look good on all screen/window widths and devices. Give that a try and see what you think.

Do you know if there’s a way to get the videos to display on mobile devices? I like how the theme displays on mobile devices now. But the video blacks out. Clicking the screen brings up the video, but most visitors wouldn’t know this.

@thezevster, I’ve verified this and I’m chatting with our developers to see what the issue is. Hopefully I’ll be back to you very soon on this.
-
@thezevster, can you test something? Temporarily copy out all your custom CSS, save it in a plain text file (Textedit) and then delete it all from your CSS and save and then try your site and see if the videos display properly on your pages.
Let me know the outcome.

Thank you for following up! I did this and now the mobile pages with video only display a flashing gray circle.

Thanks a lot for testing that. Even though I haven’t seen any other complaints on this issue, both the developer and I have been able to reproduce, so I’m filing a bug report. Hopefully it will get fixed very soon, but I can’t make any promises on when.
