CSS for Triton Lite and Font Color
-
Hi,
I’m using the Triton Lite theme and wanted to change the blog’s font color to black, because the default version is light grey and pale.
Now, I’m a complete newbie to CSS. When one goes to Design -> Custom Design -> CSS, we have this stylesheed editor. On the bottom you can view the original stylesheet.
As a noob, I open this and copy (for example) thisbody {
background: #edeef0;
color: #7f7f7f;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 13px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}
into the editor. But whatever I copy and change (here: color: #00000), nothing happens. This is with all changes I make (font size in footer area).
Please help if it's not too stupid :)
The blog is http://sweetguitars.wordpress.com (as you can see, wordpress hosted).
Thanks :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site you referenced is using twenty eleven. Are you talking about a different site, or did you switch themes?
This is the solution for Triton LIte.
.lay1 > div .post-content, #posts { color: #000000; } -
Thanks for answering. I switched recently due to the problems I had and I will use Twenty Eleven for the next time.
Thanks again, maybe there are others who have the same problems. -
You are welcome, and yes I suspect there will be others wanting to change that, so nothing is ever wasted in a forum.

I also posted something in the forum, but was wondering if I could get an answer here, too. I’m hoping to change the post titles on the homepage from all-caps to normal text. I’ve used CSS codes from other themes to no avail. Is there something special for Triton Lite?
