CSS Header Image | Change Position | Maisha Theme

    Hello CSS Wizards…. I have a task for you. Hoping you can assist me. I am new to CSS, so please explain things in dummy terms. I would like to add a logo to my header. But when I do, the default setting places the logo on top of my website/business title. This then causes my header bar to grow very fat and out of proportion with the rest of the site. The Happiness Team has told me that I am able to get a small logo to the left of my business name, but through CSS changes. Can you please assist? Thanks, Jay.

    Hello there,

    I’d be happy to help! Would you mind sharing the link to your logo with me? That will make it easier for me to figure out sizing etc.

    Thanks,
    Sage

    Hello there!

    Dropping this code in your custom CSS area should do the trick:

    .site-logo {
    	background-image: url(https://jaycurtin.files.wordpress.com/2016/11/final_profile-picture-160px-160px.png);
    	background-repeat: no-repeat;
    	padding-left: 78px;
    	background-size: contain;
    }

    Let me know if that doesn’t work!
    Sage
