CSS help needed

Hi, I have managed to learn a lot about wp blogs, but CSS is something I do not understand yet. When should I change the CSS code and how do I fdind the codes to use there? Is it usually enough to have the “optimized for mobile” mark on? I know so little of this part, so my question might be “funny”. Hope someone could give me a little help, as I would like to launch this new art blog of mine. :)

OK and thank you. I am still wondering do I need to write a CSS code, or are the themes from wordpress usually mobile optimized? Meaning maybe I do not need to write CSS? In my other blog I had to, as customers said the blog did not show well on mobile phones.

There are 272 themes currently that are responsive designs that are optimized for all screen/window sizes, clear down to phone sized screens. You can filter the Theme Showcase for Responsive Layouts. Here is a direct link. You can also click on the Free link at the top of that listing to see only free themes.
