CSS image in site title?is someone good with codes?
-
hey guys, Ive seen a thread on the forums solved by ‘thesacredpath’ helping someone with the same problem i have except ive tried changing around the code but i guess my theme isnt compatible or something!
Im currently using the Brunelleschi 1.5.9 theme with provides a good bit if space to place another image/logo there instead of text over my header image. Please dont ask me to simply change my header image to this image(links below) as i want them both to look as one big header some-what! The header image is 950px x. 200 so i tried making the title image 950 x 80 but im really bad with codes and cant seem to get it going! If anyone is good at codes and wants to copy and paste the working answer id be thankful!MY BLOG in progress: http://tarmartales.com/
The image i want in the title area above the header image :

The reason other CSS you found didn’t work for you is because CSS is theme specific. You need to use the right selectors for your theme design in order for CSS to work.
I checked http://tarmartales.com/ and I found that site is setup using WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences.
Can you please ask the theme authors of your theme for help directly or try asking for help in the WordPress.org forums if you need further assistance with that blog? Support for WordPress.org blogs is done by volunteers at http://wordpress.org/support/
You can post a reply here with a link to your new help request to allow people reading this WordPress.com forum to be able to follow the issue if they’d like.
