CSS in my blog I have no control over..
-
why is there a SECOND stylesheet in my blog?
http://mayablogger.wordpress.com/
namely this one:
http://s0.wp.com/custom-css.php?blog=A3oL&cache=4&rev=35I have no control over this stylesheet, thus I want it OUT OF THERE.. there’s no reason why there should be more than one stylesheet.. (and what kind of css stylesheet is this, it doesn’t even have a .css extension..)
I know this stylesheet is affecting the look & feel of my blog (I can see it when I view elements with Firebug…)
I don’t want that stylesheet there.. how do I get rid of it..thank you…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

and WHY is this in the markup??
#headerimage {
background: url(http://s0.wp.com/wp-content/themes/pub/mistylook/img/misty.jpg) no-repeat;
}I need to get rid of this….

http://s0.wp.com/custom-css.php?blog=A3oL&cache=4&rev=35The second stylesheet is yours, and yes you DO have control over it because that’s the one overriding the default one (I thought you said you know CSS “very, very well“…) And that’s a “server side” generated stylesheet, that’s why it doesn’t have a CSS extension…

You can’t. WP.com users have no access to source files. Obviously, that definition is not affecting your header since I can see a Marilyn Monroe (or Madonna) image being displayed.
The article timethief linked you to on your previous thread, explains why is not recommended to paste the whole stylesheet in the CSS Editor like you’ve done it, but since you want to have the whole thing there, have you tried checked the “start from scratch” radio button? then only your stylesheet will be served.

Do note that if you select “start from scratch…” that all relative links in the CSS file will be broken since your custom stylesheet will be saved in a different location from the original. That means some of the original image links, if you keep them, will be broken and those images will no longer appear on your blog.
Doing CSS at wordpress.COM is different from normal web sites. See this link: http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/ .
