CSS interfering with Menu
-
Hi,
I have some CSS on my site that I was told is interfering with my menu. I need the current “Areas of Practice” to be unclickable but the rest of the child pages for that parent page to be clickable. I had some help putting in the CSS but I was advised that its now incorrect. Can someone take a look for me please?
Thanks,The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi ajohnson840,
This is the preferred method for making an un-clickable menu link.
Q. How do I create an un-clickable parent tab for my sub-menu
To create a menu item that is not clickable but will contain submenu items, just add a Link menu item and add a # symbol in the “Link Address (URL)” field. -
That was exactly how it was constructed. However, I was told that the CSS currently put on my site through assistance with the forum is interfering with this process. I’ve already made the link unclickable, I need the child pages to be clickable.

I’m able to arrive at both child pages without issue, although you really have to be precise. If I don’t hover down over the small triangle, it loses focus and the submenus disappear.
The custom CSS you have added to your site does not impact that behavior at all.

Weird! It works perfectly now. Both support and I weren’t able to use it at all about 2 hours ago.
Do you happen to know how the CSS to increase the header image size for pages other than the home page?
Thank you for your help! Even if it just mysteriously started working! lol

@ajohnson840, your submenu is down a bit too far and can sometimes not stay visible when I try and pull off the top level menu item and go to the submenu items. Add the following CSS to correct that and see what you think.
.main-navigation ul ul { top: 3.8em; } -
@ajohnson840 — It’s a good practice to start a new topic when you have a new question. I’m inclined to suggest that you just shrink the home page header and leave the other pages alone. Less fiddling around. By the way, I think your home page header image is missing.
.home .site-branding { padding: 4.75em 0; }
