css loop for ALL comments
-
Hi, I’m somewhat of a novice in CSS and I’m trying to learn, but I’ve come across an obstacle.
Here is the screenshot:
http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/4808/63240651.pngI styled the first comment, obviously, but how do I use the same style for the other comments? So that the same style will be used over and over again? Thanks so much. :)

CSS doesn’t use loops. You have to apply the formatting to a specific element by name, ID, or element type. In this case, the “content” DIV has to be given the proper CSS.

Okay, this is the code I used:
#content ol.commentlist {
background-color:red;
}and here is the result (I used red just to show as a test):

The other comments, at least on the first post, are your comments. The post author’s comments in this theme are styled differently so that they stand out visually and are under:
#commentlist .bypostauthorSimply mimic the styling in that selector.
