CSS Newbie

    Newbie here,
I’ve just moved over from using Blogger to the much more professional WordPress and I am impressed! I’m not so familiar with CSS however, and have a couple of quick questions.
I am using the PressRow 0.1 by Chris Pearson theme and have uploaded my own header image which incorporates the title of the blog.
In this theme, the title of the blog also appears in text above this image. I wish to get rid of this but am unsure if this is possible.
How would I go about editing the theme content like this?
If possible, I wanted to remove the text that appears at the bottom of the page and replace it with my own.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Jack

WordPress.com is a multi-user blogging platform and bloggers here cannot edit their themes. If they could then any changes made would affect all other bloggers who had the same theme. If you purchase a css upgrade you can cover the title area up. However you cannot add links into either the footer or the header. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=10344&page&replies=4#post-72424

For the MistyLook theme, you would have to obtain the CSS upgrade to remove that text. On the themes that title text is directly on top of the header image, there’s an option to hide that text. When the text is outside the image like on your theme, there’s no option.
