css (or alt way) to move image upward in wordpress.com page in classic editor

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi – I am adding new images to a preexisting wordpress page that was built with classic editor (Sketch theme). When I import new media the image lands in unpredictable positions (vertically) in the existing page, and I cannot seem to move the new image up or down. I there CSS I can use or another method? Thanks!

  • Hey there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

Are you able to provide an example of the page you’re working on. And also, to check, when you mention importing content – have you copied and pasted from a different site, or imported content from a different site?

I suspect there may be something in the content that’s causing that consistently, so I’d like to take a closer look before implementing CSS.

To note, if CSS is required, the site would need to be on the premium plan.

But, before we get to that – let’s see if there’s an underlining cause. :)
