CSS preview works but won't show after "saving"
-
Hello, this is my blog (bangaloretalk.wordpress.com) and I have purchased the Custom CSS upgrade. I am using Chrome. When I preview my CSS edits, they show up perfectly but when I then click “save stylesheet” (I am editing Coraline, and using the add this to the theme stylesheet option); it tells me it has saved but then the blog doesn’t reflect the changes. Ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are working in Preview mode then the changes will not display on the blog. TSP a Volunteer who helps with CSS tells us sometimes the “Preview” mode is flakey. Try toggling it again please. see here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/changing-themes-10?replies=4#post-575951

First off, do your changes still show up in the CSS edit window? Are they still there?
Second, try logging out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look.
I’m seeing changes on your blog and when I look, I can see your CSS is being applies.
Sometimes this might be an ISP invisible proxy server issue. ISPs use those to lower their bandwidth usage and if that server was overloaded, or having issues it might not update right away.

Hello,
My changes do show up in the CSS window.
I am beginning to think this is either a browser problem (doesn’t work with Chrome and IE), only works with Safari, OR it is a work-ISP problem. It seems to look fine when I access it from home. (I have cleared the cache on both Chrome and IE).Right now the header should have a 1px red border and the headings should all be dark blue. Does this show up on other people’s views?
Any other ideas? It worries me that everyone will see a different view of the blog.
Thanks!

Try accessing these three files from work and see what you get. You should see 3 CSS files. If you have any issues viewing any of them, then it is likely a firewall and/or security program issue on your network.

I’ve been able to access all three files on Chrome at work so I guess it’s not a network issue then?
I just trying to access the blog again and it is not showing the correct changes. But the preview feature, on ALL three browsers always reflects exactly what changes I’ve made. It is really strange.

It’s still probably some sort of issue with your network or your computer at work then. Are they by chance running through a proxy server?
