CSS question about Contempt theme
-
Hello everyone. Some friends and I have been starting a blog (http://notinhd.wordpress.com), and trying to make changes using the Contempt theme. We have it about where we want it right now, except for the shaded border that used to line the original width of the theme (we expanded it by 300 px). I’ve been looking for hours to try to find how to get those shaded borders to match up with the new width (you can see the top of the borders currently at the very top of the page). Can anyone help us see where we would edit the CSS to fix this? Thank you!

You mean that very thin slice above the header image with 2 vertical lines in it? It’s a graphic. To get rid of it and have plain grey, look for this section and change the url to none as I did here:
element.style { background-attachment:fixed; background-image:none; background-position:center top; background-repeat:repeat-y; }Say nice things about Mariano Rivera…
