CSS Sela Theme – Recent posts

  Hi, I need your help. I understand the front page of Sela theme is static. So, I created a page to link to my recent posts. I want that page show me the recent posts like a grid. It is possible? I don’t know how to put the code. (I would like see all the post like grids in the other pages)

  Also, I want to add some text on the footer. Again: I don’t know the code.

  Hi @viajaelmundo, the Sela theme does not have that functionality. We could possibly put your posts on the blog, category and archive pages into perhaps two columns on wider screens, but the CSS that we have to do that is not supported by older browsers, and in the case of Internet Explorer, it wasn’t supported until version 11.

  It may be best to look for a theme that shows the posts in a grid format. Here are a number of them that we offer here at WordPress.com.

  Cubic
  Canard
  Apostrophe
  Revelar
  Gazette
  Illustratr

  If you want to try two columns on wider screens, let me know and I’ll work out the CSS for that.

  Thanks very much for your help! I understand what you said and I’m going to try to live without grid layouts :)
  Could you help me with my other question? I need to put some text on the footer (copyright) and I would like to delete the sidebar into the posts.

  Oops, sorry for not addressing the footer text request. Go to Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS and edit the content text string between the quote marks as desired.

    content: "My Footer Text";
    margin-bottom: 10px
  }
