    I upgraded my account so I can customize my blog but I dont understand how to do the two things i need most.

    1. I want to change the size of the font for all the posts

    2. I want to add a sidebar to my theme so i can have my widgets on display at all times. If this is not possible, I want to just be able to add social media icons to my page without the widgets. Help!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    2) You can’t add sidebars to themes that don’t have them, but you CAN put in social media links wherever you want.

    Always, when making a request like this in hte forum, identify which theme you have and, as specifically as possible, what changes you want to make. “Bigger” could mean 12 pt font or it could mean 64. Be specific.

    Also realize it’s the holidays and there is going to be scant help around for the next ten days or so.

    Hi there, Ryu does not display widgets at all times and as @raincoaster says, you cannot add a sidebar widget area to a theme that does not have it designed into the theme.

    1. To increase or decrease the font size for the post and page content, go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete the informational text and then add the following and adjust the 100% value as desired.

    .entry-content {
        font-size: 100%;
    }

    There are a large number of themes that have sidebars. You can look through what is available by going to http://theme.wordpress.com/ , click on the “find a theme” button, click on columns and then click on Two Columns if you want a single sidebar, or click on Three Columns if you want two sidebars.
