CSS that hides text over an image (cover block) when the cursor hovers over it
-
As title suggests – I want images on my website that display text overlayed on top using the cover block. What I would then like is a way to hide that text when the cursor hovers over that cover block.
Is this possible? Either CSS or a work around?
Thanks

Hi @jhatcher97,
Thanks for reaching out! What you’re looking to achieve—having text overlayed on a Cover block image that hides when hovered—is possible, but it would require using custom CSS.Since this goes beyond the built-in block settings, we’d recommend exploring custom CSS options to target the text within the Cover block and change its visibility on hover. While we can’t offer direct CSS support, the WordPress.org forums or community-based sites like Stack Overflow are great places to get help with that.
