CSS to remove Author and comments from home page posts leave only the date

  Hi everyone I am new to this and would appreciate your assistance. I am using the headlines theme. I want to remove the author and comments from the posts made on my home page. I only want posts to show the title and date. Can anyone please help me with this?

  Hi there, to remove the author and comments from your front page, you can use the following CSS.

  .home .author, .home .comments {
      display: none;
  }

  Author and comments will remain on the categories, archives, author, tags and single post pages.

  Do you know how i can put the comment part at the bottom instead of at the top.thank you

  The problem with trying to do this is that the only way to position it reliably would be below the Sharing and Related section because the Share Like can end up varying in length as you get more likes on posts. That would put the Comment link down sort of out of site from the bottom of the post content. If you wish to give this a try, add the following CSS.

  .box .post .comments {
      position: absolute;
      bottom: 5px;
      left: 20px;
  }
