Can you point me to one of these so I can take a look at it? I’m not sure I understand what you are wanting.

CSS is only for display, you cannot use it to adjust code or how URLs are printed (such as query strings).
With regard to the original question separate from CSS, I agree it would be helpful if you could post a specific example including a link where the example can be viewed, the link text, and the query string in question.
