CSV file type not supported?

  Hello,
  I am trying to make links to csv data files available for download, but when I try to add the csv file to the page I get a message the file type is not supported. Am I missing a plugin do this or something?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @jmjones8,

  You can find a list of filetypes accepted for uploading here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

  WordPress.com doesn’t currently support CSV files, but you could put it in a ZIP file and upload that as an alternative.
