I just changed to Cubic as a theme for wholeflowarts.com, and I am wondering how to make the squares into pictures.
Thanks!

Howdy Eliza!
To do that, you’l need to set a featured image for each post:
Can you give that a try? The suggested size for featured images is 2000 x 1500.

Sure! So, first, it looks like you’re making many of your posts “Sticky” as shown here:
https://wholeflowarts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post
The order of posts on your homepage traditionally goes from newest to oldest. A “Sticky” post ignores the date order and sits in the first spot. However, if you have multiple sticky posts then the post date determines the order. Does that make sense? Basically, I would recommend only marking a handful of posts “Sticky” (ones that you want to be at the “top” of the blog) and leaving the rest “Unsticky.” You can read a bit more about that here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
So, “Sticky” is one method of putting a post in the first slot. The predominant method though is by changing the post date. As I mentioned, your posts are automatically ordered from newest to oldest. The easiest way to reorder them would be to change the post date. You can do that here:
https://wholeflowarts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post
Just hover over a post and click “Quick Edit.” Once you change the date, it will be reordered. Can you give that a try?
