Cubic Theme – Adjusting Featured Image Display on Homepage

  I’m trying to adjust the cropping of the featured image for Cubic theme on the home page. Most of the images I use are 4×6, which is perfectly fine for the posts themselves (for the most part), but in a few cases when the image is cropped to a square for the homepage, aspects of the photo are being cropped in a different way than I’d prefer. I assume it just goes off of the center of the photo, but is there any way to adjust this? For example, there are a few photos where the people are on the edges and they’re cut off either partially or completely, and I’d rather cut off part of the other side of the photo and have the people more central. I’m assuming I’d need to edit the code, which I can do, just wondering how I’d go about doing that. I’d hate to muck about and ruin everything!
