Cubic Theme – amazon affiliate links not showing

    Hi all

    I have the cubic theme and I have added Amazon Affiliate links to one page. When I first posted the links and clicked preview, they appeared as images (rather than links), as they should do. I published it and it has reverted back to just showing long links for some reason. I have deleted the page and re-entered them again (twice in fact), but they are just showing the links.

    Please could someone help me so that the images show? I am copying the html links from the official amazon affiliate program for text and image.

    Hi Poppy,

    Can you please share an example post or page so that I can look into the code? You can set the post/page to private so that only staff here at WordPress.com can view it.

    It’s worth noting that certain type of code are automatically stripped out of WordPress.com for security. You can double check what code is/isn’t allowed in the following support documentation:

    Add Code to Your Site

    If you’re copying/pasting plain HTML that fits under the “allowed” list from the above documentation, then I’ll be happy to take a look into why it’s not rendering correctly.

    Hi Siobhyb

    I ended up just pasting the text link and the image link separately and I got it to show, so no need to explore the combined link as I am not using them any longer for ease!
