Cubic theme and removing dates from blog posts or having block image menu
-
Hello
I’m trying to build a simple site and really like the cubic theme which I am now using. I dont want a blog site I just want a home page with some pages behind it but can only create the block images on the front page by making them blog posts and therefore they have the dates on there. Can the date be removed or can you suggest a different theme with block images that users can click on that will take them to different pages?
Thanks -
What is the exact URL starting with http:// for the site you refer to?
We provide support only for sites hosted by wordpress.COM. We do not provide support for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting and you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Hi, thanks for the info. I’m on the .com version but can’t give the url as my site is not live yet. Is there another way to help?

This site http://www.youcallitevents.co.uk/ is not hosted by wordprtess.COM and we do not provide support for it. Support for that site is found at wordpress.ORG. You are posting to the wrong support forum if that is the site URL.

Hi there,
I see you have a WordPress.com site with the Cubic theme in your account, but it is mapped to a domain that is not pointed at WordPress.com. You will need to change the name servers of that domain with your registrar before you’ll be able to use it with your WordPress.com site. See here for instructions:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/As you have the Premium Plan on that site, you should be able to make this change using custom CSS. Please post in the CSS Customization forum for help with the code you’ll need with this. To make things easier for the people in that forum, it will help if your site is public and and viewable at the correct domain when you ask for help there, as they will need to see your site in order to give you the correct CSS.
