Cubic Theme- Customisation Help Needed

I love the Cubic theme and have got my art writing up on that.

1) However for some reason my “about” section seems to have disappeared. does anyone know where its gone? or how i can add it back?
2)i would love it if on the homepage, above my title of the article, i could get the genre of writing, rather than the date. can anyone help me to resolve my doubts please
3) also there any way i can choose the image that goes up as the home page pic. i have quite a few picture in individual articles, however i find i can’t choose what image i choose for the homepage.
I’d appreacite inputs and help. THANK YOU!

1) You need to add About page to your menu.

https://ambikarajgopal.wordpress.com/wp-admin2) Cubic theme design doesn’t allow adding categories instead of post date. Even on the category pages, the category name is displayed at the top left corner of the page as you can see at https://cubicdemo.wordpress.com/category/wordpress/
3) The image that is shown on the home page is called Feature Image. You can set a featured image by following the instructions in this support guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
