Cubic Theme Doesn't Show Widgets, Why?

Just changed themes and i previously had my instagram posts showing on the front page, however now the widgets don’t seem to show on the Cubic theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It doesn’t appear that there is a front page option for widgets with the Cubic theme. When I am trying it, my widgets are shown in the side bar instead.

Make sure that you have a menu selected at at Customize > Menus > Menu Locations > Social Menu.

Sorry, the instructions I provided above are irrelevant regarding your question.
After switching from one theme to another, you may need to reassign widgets and menus. See the Switch Themes section of the Themes support page regarding things to check for after switching themes.
Cubic has one widget area, in the same location as the primary menu. This sidebar menu/widget area is opened by clicking on the three-bar icon at the top right of any post or page on the site.

Hi there,
As @musicdoc1 says above, you need to click the menu icon to see widgets on the Cubic theme. The widgets aren’t visible by default on the front page. This is how this theme is designed to work.

The widget area was and still is empty on the site https://graysonjoviandme.wordpress.com/. That’s why I made the referral to the Switch Themes section of the Themes support page.
