Cubic Theme Featured Image needs to be square?

    Hi –
    I am starting a photoblog and I like the Cubic Theme, but I would like to use my full size image as the “featured image.” When I do this, I see it shown in a letterbox style on the home page… is there a way to allow these to be zoomed in to fill the square? Or does it require a square image in order to show just the image on the home page without the borders? I really hope this is just a setting I haven’t found yet. Thanks for any help!!

    I’m sorry – I can’t help – but for what it’s worth this has been frustrating me too. I hope there’s a way to auto-zoom in to the images to fill a square as you’ve said.

    The recommended size for featured images in Cubic is 2000px wide by 1500px high. That ensures the right aspect ratio for the grid (without black bars) and also fills the space well at the top of single posts.
