Cubic Theme is Different from Live Demo
-
Hello. I don’t know why but somehow all the subsequent themes that I’ve activated for my new blog retain the same layout & almost-similar design to the very first theme I selected. Now I’d like to have the Cubic theme, but after tinkering with the settings many times, I keep getting Hever theme (the first theme I activated for my blog). Sometimes it worked, but when I preview my blog I don’t see Cubic design. It’s completely different from the Cubic live demo.
I’ve searched on WordPress forum & YouTube videos about this but none of them gives step-by-step solution on solving this. I’d appreciate it very much if you could help me.

Hi there!
Each theme needs to be set up to resemble the demo site. As for Cubic, you can see the exact instructions here:
https://wordpress.com/theme/cubic/3languagesatonce.home.blogThis theme works best when you display your recent posts as your front page. If you set a Featured Image for each post, you’ll see it appearing as a background for the post title.
To display posts on the frontpage, you can go to My Site>Design>Customize>Homepage Settings and choose Your Latest Posts. Don’t forget to click on the blue button Publish when you’re done :)

Hi! I have followed the exact instructions, actually. But my blog doesn’t resemble anything like the live demo still. I haven’t published any posts on my blog though, so I suppose that’s the reason the layout remains the same. I’ll try to publish a few posts & go through the instructions again later. Hopefully it’ll work! Thank you so much for your help! :)

I see that you currently using the Maywood theme – are you no longer interested in the Cubic theme?
