Cubic theme, need help getting started

  I have a website and CUBIC theme set up… but I can’t find Step 1. How do I create a page, with multiple photos within it? The preview for the Cubic theme shows a beautiful website, with simple photos. When you click a photo, it should bring you to a gallery. But how does one start? Any help would be much appreciated. (I am not a novice. I have run other WordPress websites, but they had some starting info. )
