Cubic Theme – selecting image from post to front page

So, I have the cubic theme and on my post have several images. How can I select which image gets posted onto my homepage? The feature image function allows me to add an image on the actual post, but I am talking more about the homepage.
So my current example is I have several images in http://www.mymugoftea.com/124days
yet I have only one image on my home page http://www.mymugoftea.com which i’d like to change.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The feature image function allows me to add an image on the actual post, but I am talking more about the homepage.
If a featured image is set on a post on the Cubic theme, then it will display on both the single post and the blog page, as long as the corresponding boxes are checked at Customize > Content Options > Featured Images. See the Featured Images support page for relevant information and instructions.
Choices for the image featured on a post in the blog page grid on Cubic when no featured image is set include the following:
1. image attached to the post — If no featured image is set then my tests reveal that the theme will first automatically select an image attached to the post (even if that image doesn’t appear in the post content), and that, somewhat surprisingly, the image selected is the one with the earliest upload date.
2. image inserted into the post content – If no featured image is set and no image is attached to the post, then an image inserted into the post content is selected. My tests indicate that the image most recently inserted into the post is chosen for display in the blog page grid.
3. colored block — If no featured image is set, then you may display a colored block instead by checking the box at Customize > Theme Options labeled “If featured image isn’t set, display colored block on blog page.”
