Cubic theme sharing pages give text crawl
-
Help anyone?
I’ve been using Cubic theme for a number of years and have just moved to self hosting. Since doing so, I seem to have trouble with sharing my posts.
If I open my posts on my mobile in either Safari or Chrome, I get the responsive preview I’m expecting. Images exactly as planned etc. If I share exactly the same link on social media, and click that, I get a text crawl version. No images, and just looks like blogger from 1990s! :’D – I’m sure it has something to do with their rubbish pop-up browser option.
I’ve gone through all the appearance and customisation settings to see if anything is different but it all matches up. The hosting team (bluehost) took a look and suggest there’s a problem with the theme. I’m not 100% on that as it only happens when sharing on social, however most of my traffic comes from these channels. I’m pretty certain it is more to do with the rubbish link browser a lot of social channels has introduced.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue? Has something been missed when I moved my site across to self hosting that I need apply. Any help will be greatly appreciated as at the moment, my site looks really old fashioned and not how it should be. Social I share on are Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, for self-hosted sites using Cubic, there is a Cubic Support Forum at WordPress.org where you can post for help.
Can you take a screen shot of what you are seeing and post it to a file sharing service or upload it to your media library and then post the url of that image here so that I can see what it looks like?

Thanks @thescaredpath
I’ll check it out, however it does happen on all 3 when using my mobile. On desktop it’s fine. It’s very peculiar. -
@wigglebee1984 is there any chance you’re seeing the AMP version of the site instead?

Got it. Can you check to see if you have the mobile theme enabled? And if so can you disable it?

Hey, great idea. Just trying to find the Traffic setting to try the AMP setting however, it suggests I don’t have that plugin at all, so it is all based on the responsive settings (or should be).
Here’s what it is saying: https://photos.app.goo.gl/4p3oU3aFhd8D60F92
