Cubic theme – text width smaller than image in Preview but not visual editor

I have a cubic theme. I have used individual images rather than gallery images this time. It all looks fine in visual editor, but when I preview, the text is much smaller in width than the images.

I have read and seen you tube videos that suggest I need a full width template or perhaps a child page, but I can seem to find out how to do this in simple terms. I’m a novice at this! Is there a way to add some short code to make the text align to a full width in the cubic theme?

When I used gallery images before the misalignment didn’t seem to occur but the page was quite narrow with lots of white space on the side and I would have preferred a full width text but gave up and published anyway.

This time I can’t publish as it looks terrible and I’m not sure how to fix it. Hoping someone out there can explain it to me in simple terms!
