Cubic Theme – Widen Post Area
-
I’m using the Cubic theme. I really like it but I’d like the post area widened.
I’ve tried different code with varying levels of success but I’m still having trouble because my Jetpack Tiled Gallery is simply left-aligning but not widening to fit the page.
My site is http://myboringchannel.com
Here is the code I’m currently trying.
.single .entry-author, .single .entry-content, .single .entry-footer {
width: 1200px;
}I’ve also tried this:
@media screen and (min-width: 880px) {
body.page .entry-header,
body.single .entry-header {
width: 900px;
}
.entry-author,
.entry-content,
.entry-footer,
.comment-reply-title,
.comments-title,
.comment-list,
#respond .comment-form {
padding-right: 0;
padding-left: 0;
width: 900px;
}
}But the same thing happens. The post widens but the tiled gallery stays to the left. Plus the comments, etc., get all messed up.
Is there any easy way to achieve this? Right now, if you look at it, I have the above code in the Customizer (the longer snippet).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

ns.inmotionhosting.comThat site is not on our WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get support for it.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org

However, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service -
I am quite aware of the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. I am also quite aware who my web host is.
I thought, however, if one was using Jetpack and WordPress.com to power their website then this was the right place to post. I obviously thought wrong! I’ll try again in the .org forums.
