    hi, I live in The Netherlands and I would like to make use of the IDeal payment method. However it doesn’t display as an option, and as far as I can see it is due to the fact that the currency for my account is set to USD. And it seems like that can only be changed by WP staff. Could you please modify my account’s currency to EURO so that I can use my preferred payment method? Thanks

    I’ve updated your WordPress.com account’s currency to EUR as per your request. You should now be able to view and make purchases in Euros.

    However, in order to provide the most accurate support with your iDeal payment integration, I’d appreciate it if you could share some more specific information with us.

    1. Can you please confirm if the site you’re trying to integrate iDeal with is pablofontdevila.com or a different one?
    2. Where exactly are you trying to purchase the iDeal payment integration from?

    Once we have this information, we will be able to guide you more accurately on how to set this all up.

    hi, thanks for your reply and for adjusting my account information.

    My issue is, in principle, solved – I can see now the IDeal option on checkout, which is what I wanted because I don’t own a credit card.

    As for your questions:

    1. it is indeed about http://www.pablofontdevila.com (hosting and domain)

    2. I don’t exactly understand this question… I don’t think it’s a “payment integration” I’m talking about, but about paying for my own domain subscription and plan.

    I have encountered a problem, however – in renewing and paying for my plan manually today, because I wanted to be sure of paying it in time, the new expiration date is exactly 2 years from now – meaning that I have lost almost 2 months of my previously paid subscription… This doesn’t feel very good – that the renovation period is coupled to the date of payment, rather than that by paying it I have secured the renovation in the appropriate period – that is, from the date the previous payment/subscription would have expired. Is it possible to correct this?

    @polefontde It seems like you recently cancelled your previous Personal plan and purchased a new two-year subscription. However, I’ve taken the liberty of cancelling and refunding the new plan for you. Your initial Personal plan has been restored. To renew this plan, please visit your Purchases page at: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases.

    You should also receive an email regarding the cancellation and refund for your reference.
