Currency Converter Widget

  Hi, I am trying to add a currency converter widget to my blog as a Text Widget. When I copy/paste the html from the widget site it doesn’t take effect. I read about the issues with relating to script being blocked from WordPress. I can’t find a site that gives plain html for their widget. How can I add it so that it works as an image widget or any other suggestions? The one I was looking at was https://www.oanda.com/currency/currency-converter-widget. Thanks.

  Hi there,

  I checked https://www.oanda.com/currency/currency-converter-widget. I found that it includes JavaScript. You are not allowed to use any JavaScript codes on WordPress.com here. That’s why that doesn’t work well.

  Though you have no way to put the currency converter widget now, but I recommend you to request to WordPress.com team through the ideas forum. It’s possible that the function will be added into the default feature of WordPress.com in the future.
