  • Hi there,

I’ve changed the currency to USD. You should see this upon refresh.

It looks like you’re starting out, so I’d love to learn more about the type of website you’re looking to build and your goals. This way, I can offer you tailored advice on how to build your site and select the right plan.

I also wanted to let you know about our Built by WordPress.com service. This is a great option if you’d like our team of experts to build your website. We can customize a site that meets your specific needs, so you can focus on your content and goals.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if there’s anything else I can help you with.

Thank you for the help, Fstat.

The type of website I was to looking to build right now was one to store my future projects in and hopefully one to share with my future clients if they were looking to pay for my services.

My original goal is to learn web design and development, as well as some computer science. That way as I am learning, I can put the projects I am working on or have finished in my website for future reference. For now, I wanted to mess around and see what I could do with the free plan and hopefully upgrade as my goal expands.

  • Great, happy to have you! If you’re not sure where to start, we have a free self-guided course on how to set up your first website: https://wordpress.com/learn/courses/create-your-site/

You may also want to check out our upcoming webinars, which will both be covering how to use the Site Editor tools, which is a way to fully customize all aspects without the need to code. https://wordpress.com/learn/webinars/

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
