Registrar Information
Name: Tucows Domains Inc.
Hi there, it looks like your domain is registered with Tucows so if you want to ditch your current web hosting and create a new site here on WordPressdotcom, you’ll need to upgrade your site to at least the Personal plan in order to map your custom domain to your site here. You can also transfer your domain to WordPressdotcom so you can make all your payments for your site in one place.
https://wordpress.com/pricing/As far as moving the content of your site from Lycos/Tripod, if they have an option of exporting your content in one of the formats that can be imported, you’ll find a list here https://transferto.wordpress.com/ , that is the easiest. Otherwise you’ll need to follow the guide for HTML builders.
Hope that helps answer your questions.
