CURRENT ISSUE: Categories and Links/Blogrolls (updated)

my links appear to be added in my dashboard, but the blogroll does not appear on my blog.

Thanx for the hard work your putting in.
http://familienieuws.wordpress.com still isn’t accepting new links to the blogroll, but the ‘edit’ workaround works like a charm.
So when I want to add a new link, I add the link, save, edit the link, save and only then it shows in my blogroll.
Just to let you know. I can live with it.

UPDATE: For those of you whose links are not showing up on your blog, we have fixed the bug. If you go back and edit the link and just click save it should appear in your blogroll. Sorry for the trouble!

Hi, my blog is http://shacklifequarterly.com/ and my category counts are wonky! I should have about 12 posts in the Recipes category but there are apparently 42. Is this part of the problem that you are working on?

When I left to go to work this morning, I could tell that lots of my categories were missing and many posts were shown as uncategorised. Some of the categories appear to have come back during the day – can I expect the others to gradually re-appear as part of an over-all fix, or is each blog to be fixed individually?

If it’s the latter, then I can tell that the following categories are missing (along with all their sub-categories) (and most of the associated posts are shown as uncategorised) –

Campbeltown/Argyll
Chess
Food
Humour
Literature (Prose)
Music (general)

Here’s hoping you can help me out here – thanks in advance

I had an image uploaded and I SEE it in my uploads… but it is NOT loading on my page..

With reference to my post a couple of posts ago, I think I am now inching towards a solution. I took one ‘uncategorised’ post at random and ‘edited’ it – by unticking the category and then re-ticking it – that brought the category back into the list of categories on the front page of the blog (but not the sub-categories – though I expect the same principle will apply there) – there had been 92 posts in that category and with that one click it restored them all from ‘uncategorised’ back to their proper category.

I am not out of the woods but I’m getting there.

the only thing that is still not working right is my tag cloud. the categories that were missing before all over the blog are yet still missing in the tag could…

Hi Matt,
We are setting up a new blog at http://blog.berroco.com and I can’t get the blogroll to show up. I have only added one linked image in a category called Berroco.com. Showing up on the dashboard just fine. I’m new to wordpress, so I may have messed up… Lynn

I thought that my brother had comments turned on, on his page..oops! sorry!

It also looks like I lost my picture.. So I will re-upload the image when I get home, as it is on my home computer system.
