  How do I transfer my current domain / site over to this user? I hired a web designer and now I would like full rights / usage to my site

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Scottirving11,

  As an admin, on “Customize” [hover] or “MySite” [left top], look for “Configure” Section -> People.

  If the user is existing then Change role below [dropdown] else use “Invite” with email address of your choice and assign “role”.

  Similarly upgarde or degrade role of rest of non-functional users.

  Hello! Thank you for responding!
  Yes I understand this part of assigning a role however this menu is only available to me on this account.

  I have a complete different WordPress adore where the web designer who created my site has only sent me a login page to access my website. I believe my role on that page is only assigned as editor.

  Hi,

  Scottirving11 I believed getting you administration level would get you your site.

  I have zero knowledge with regard to upgrading self from editor level without the original web designer.

  I tagged modlook for it.

  Hope it works out for you.

  The other site involved is scottirving.com

  I’d like to keep track of all my analytics and stats however my login info only accesses me to a simple dashboard page that only allows me to edit my current pages on my site.

  I have not brought this up yet to my designer however would I be able to transfer everything over from that site onto this current one Im writing to you guys on. I’d like to be on top of renewing my own domain checking my own stats etc…

  Hi scottirving11 –

  Yes, you can transfer everything to be under one user account. To do that, you’ll need the current owner of the site to add this user account scottirving11 as an admin on the site. Have you contacted them to do that already?
