currently self hosting blogger and want to move to self hosting WordPress..

    Hi, my blog is http://www.flyingwithababy.com and is self hosted but I use blogger. I really want to move over to WordPress but keep my domain name, google ranking etc etc. i’m also a real novice at this so would literally need baby steps if it is possible?
    I have seen posts on moving from a BlogSpot.com URL to wordpress self hosted but can find nothing about moving from self hosted blogger to self hosted wordpress.

    can anyone please advise if this is possible and if so, how?

    This is the forum for help on WordPress.com not self-hosted versions of WordPress. If you need help with a self-hosted version of WordPress, please use the WordPress.org Support Forums.

    If your domain name stays the same, ranking may dip for a bit but it will restore itself. In fact, it may improve as WordPress sites tend to be more SEO friendly than Blogger/Blogspot.

    WordPress has a Blogger import. It takes a couple minutes.
