Custom Accent Color – Chataeau – FAULTY

  Theme: Chateau
  The ‘Custom Accent Color’ option provides visual color combinations of text, links, and background in PREVIEW but when applying and saving the choice shown and selected, the result is not the same.

  Why is this?

  Hi there,
  Have you tried going to > Appearance > header and enabling this setting there?

  Header Text
  __Show header text with your image.
  Text Color (color selector)

  “save changes”

  At > Appearance > Theme Options you can also enable an accent color to match.

  Accent Color

  The above link to the image example of the problem is the result of following those steps you have outlined.
  As you can see, in the Custom Accent Color selector, the preview is showing a light or nearly white font color while the actual website shows the red text. This is after clicking ‘save changes’ as the preview is showing what should be the result.

  We cannot see the preview.

  Do you have the Custom Design upgrade? If you don’t, you cannot save most changes you make in the Customizer.

  I don’t have Custom Upgrade. But if you can show me where the Custom Accent Color is not a default option available on the ‘regular’ product, I’ll simply change to another theme.

  Here is the image showing the preview with white font but a red font after the selection was saved.

  I should be subscribed already as the only option on the sidebar is ‘unsubscribe’.

  No rush on the resolution. I may end up changing the theme anyway as the theme is no longer fitting with the basic layout and presentation. The font looks completely controlled.

  Hi there! I’m slightly confused about what you’re trying to do. When I visit your site, your custom accent color (red) is displaying currently:

  It looks like your background is a different color now though. Is this an issue you’re only having with that particular background choice?
